项目基本情况

Project description and proposed activities

The project areas are selected in southwest of the Taklamagan desert (Hetian, Kashgar, Kezlesukekirks and Akesu districts), where the main population are minorities (Uyger, Kurkez and Tajik) Taklamagan desert is China’s biggest desert and the biggest moving desert in the world. Due to the invasion by the desert and degradation of ecological environment, the livelihood condition of local farmers is very harsh, where counts 85% of the poor population of Xinjiang.

项目位于塔克拉玛干大沙漠(和田、喀什葛尔、Kezlesukekirks阿克苏地区),该地区主要人口是维吾尔族、塔吉克族和Kurkez族人。塔克拉玛干大沙漠是中国最大、世界第一大流动沙漠。由于沙漠的侵入和生态环境的退化,当地农民的生活状态严峻,该地区所有的贫困人口占新疆地区的85%

项目减排原理

The emission reduction technology to be employed

Emission reductions from this project include three parts. Firstly, the reduction of CH4 emission based on animal manure management. Secondly, the reduction of CO2 emission based on less consumption of fossil fuels. Thirdly, the reduction of N2O emission based on biogas residue using instead of chemical fertilizers.

该项目的减排量包括三个部分。第一、基于动物粪便管理的甲烷CH4气体减排。第二、减少化石燃料燃烧带来的减排。第三、利用生物汽残渣而不是化学肥料带来的氧化亚氮N2O的减排。

The estimated yearly GHGs emission reductions

Reduced emissions from methane usage at annual rate of 10,500 MT CO2e, total 52,500 MT CO2e over 2006-2010 period. 

预计总二氧化碳总抵消量:105,00公吨每年,总计在20062010年间将产生52,5000公吨的二氧化碳

Duration of and Rights to Offsets持续时间和对碳抵消的拥有权

Emission offsets offered for sale are net carbon sequestrations by Tamarisk planting between January   2006   and December   2010   . Upon termination the contract for rental of carbon sequestration, rights to emission offsets generated by that sequestration revert to the seller.

用以出售的碳抵消量是2006年至2010年间,通过种植红柳而实现的净碳封存量。在租用碳封存的合同期满后,该项目的通过碳封存实现的碳抵消所有权将回归出让方。
